The Cozy Collection is a family service learning project initiated by Maya Covarrubias Aguilar in 2015, when she was six-years old.
With the support of family, friends and neighbors, The Cozy Collection has grown alongside Maya and her younger brother, Joaquin.
In 2015, The Cozy Collection gathered over 1200 pairs of socks and 70 blankets.
In 2016, The Cozy Collection gathered over 3000 pairs of socks and nearly 50 blankets.
In 2017, Maya involved involved her school and recruited Cozy Collection Ambassadors from K-12 throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire. Together, they collected over 8,000 pairs of socks!
In 2018, Maya and The Cozy Collection Ambassadors collected over 14,000 pairs of socks.
